Here’s the piece that The Axel Pinpin Propaganda Machine Performed last night here in the Philippines.

This is not about the cadence of rustling leaves
This is not about the lullabye of countryside winds
This is not about the music of humming birds
This is not about the song of raging waves

Pakinggan!

    This is not about ganja.
This is not about E nor about meth
nor about suicide and senseless death.
    This is not about art,
this is not about religion nor about bling-bling,
    racing cars and pogo dancing.

This is not about your prophylactic.
This is not about birth control pill.
This is not about your fuckin’ rabbit.
This is not about Jesus Christ.

    Sumalakay!
    Maging isang sining –
ganyan ang sabi ni Chairman Mao
    sa panayam sa Yenan.
    Paglingkuran ang sambayanan!
    Maging epektibong sandata
    laban sa lahat ng kontra-rebolusyon!

And if I am a propaganda,
if we are the propaganda –
    strike the enemy
    the way Ho Chi Min
    explicitly taught fellow poets.
    Lead an attack!
    Slam! Bash! Blast!
Be the art, be the art
    that Chairman Mao referred to
in his address at the Yenan forum.
Serve the masses. Live with them.
    Die serving the people.
    Be an effective weapon
    against the counterrevolution.

This is about war. This is about war.
    This is about class war.
    This is about my revolution.
    Your revolution. Our freedom.
